Imagine: a sunny Saturday afternoon, around 1pm when there’s still hope for the day that something really good might happen and you’re gonna be there for it. After lunch, seated on a verandah. Light filters through the leafy arbour in chips of sun like the spray of a disco ball but gentler. The vine is in flower, tendrils wind their way around each other in a corkscrew embrace. Bees are frothing and you’ve ordered a post lunch treat. Amaretti? Cappucino? Creme Brulee? The temperature is just right. The music is wistful but not sad…what could anyone want?!
